Here are 10 must-have items to include in a wedding bathroom basket

Luxury bathroom experts at Posh.co.uk have shared ten must-have items to provide to make sure guests are well taken care of. Wedding bathroom baskets can be a really nice touch for couples to show their guests they care by providing them with everything they need for a comfortable evening. Including items like safety pins, deodorant, body tape and antihistamines will mean that guests won't have to worry about a thing.

Andy Ellis from Posh.co.uk said: "Wedding bathroom baskets can be a really lovely touch at a reception by providing guests with all of those small but important items that they may not necessarily be able to bring with them.

"The great thing about this is you can include what you think your guests will appreciate. Things like safety pins, hairspray and body tape are a great choice in case of a fashion emergency. Other products like blister patches and bug spray are also a good idea to make sure nothing stops your guests from having a good time and dancing the night away.

"Remember to make a his and hers version so that all of your guests are catered for and if you have any children attending your wedding then you may want to stay clear of including sharp objects and medications like antihistamines.

What to include in wedding bathroom baskets:

Blotting paper Blotting paper is great for refreshing makeup and removing excess oil from the t-zone, something your guests will appreciate if they're dancing the night away.

Blister patches Nothing spoils the fun of a wedding like uncomfortable shoes and painful feet. Include a few packs of blister patches in case your guests need to alleviate any pain caused from their shoes.

Safety pins Safety pins are a staple item during wedding season thanks to their versatility. Keep a box of these in your basket for any fashion emergencies.

Hair essentials Hair essentials are a must in a wedding basket and adding hairspray and hair grips will allow your guests to fix their hair throughout the night. Throw in some hair ties too, these will come in handy later in the evening in case anyone wants to throw their hair up and out of their face.

Deodorant and perfume Guests will appreciate being able to freshen up with some deodorant and perfume especially if you're having a summer wedding. Remember to keep things hygienic and avoid roll on products.

Sanitary products Include a variety of sanitary products in your basket in case any of your female guests face an unexpected emergency during your wedding. Body tape Body tape can lose its effectiveness on our bodies and clothes when we get hot and sweaty so provide some extra for your guests.

Antihistamines If you're having a wedding during the summer, hay fever sufferers will thank you for supplying them with some antihistamines to help fight off any allergies that are ruining their night.

Bug spray Outdoor weddings can have some unwelcome guests. Including bug spray will help guests keep pesky bugs away from them.

Hand cream If the bathroom doesn't already supply some, adding hand cream to your basket can be a nice luxurious touch.
