Stockton House is a beautiful Grade II* listed building nestled in 8,500 acres of Shropshire countryside on the Apley Estate. Stockton has been newly renovated, transforming what once was a family home into a boutique wedding venue. The 18th-century building is full of history, and during the renovation, the team wanted to preserve the original features and architecture the house has to offer and pay homage to the history and heritage this amazing house has.

Celebrate in style
St. Chad’s Church is an 11th-century church, just a short walk from Stockton House. With stunning architecture and historic features, St. Chads is perfect for religious ceremonies or blessings.

The Walled Garden Dining Room is a purpose-built 100-seater secret dining space. This incredible open-plan room is licensed for civil ceremonies and can host your wedding breakfast and evening party. The building has four and a half-metre-high walls and, to your guests, looks like a secret garden. When you open the grand, double doors, you will be transported into a large open space with a double curved ceiling, chandeliers, and open windows to the gardens and grounds at the back of the house.

Exchange your vows outside underneath the tree canopy in The Victorian Turning House. Your guests will take their seats on the lawn and watch you say your vows, surrounded by striking views.

We love...
The intimate vaulted cellar is available for you and your wedding party during your stay. The team can host an exclusive tasting where you will select champagne and wines. Served alongside delicious canapés or cheese board selections, this tasting experience can be a magical addition to the night before your wedding day or before you retire to one of the seven luxuriously designed bedrooms in the main house.
