Why you should have an oompah band at your wedding

Bierkeller Schunklers are an oompah band based in Worcestershire. We spoke to the band to find out more: "An oompah event is a party in the style of a traditional German oompah band. We play at many weddings and have loads of testimonials stating that an oompah band is absolutely perfect for a wedding.

"We dress in traditional German costume and play an amazing variety of music from traditional rock 'n' roll and oldies to Elvis and Oasis. We will get you and all your guests dancing to a variety of well known songs including The Hokey Cokey, Zorba and the Can-Can.             

"Our full-on show involves singing, dancing, games, marching, hand-clapping, yodelling, action songs and is all-out fun. We also play German drinking songs which gets everyone involved (and drunk!) and we do hand-clapping/thigh-slapping routines with the whole audience. It's probably the toughest workout you’ll ever enjoy!
