We have a number of gorgeous locations for your Civil Ceremony, all licensed by Horncastle Registry Office; the fabulous Folly in our tranquil grounds is the perfect summer spot to celebrate your love and make your vows. We can accommodate 120 guests under the majestic weeping willow in front of the Folly. For indoor ceremonies, the beautiful Oak Room accommodates 80 guests and has a beautiful sparkly ceiling.

Your wedding will be the only celebration at our hotel; on your special day you deserve our full attention. The Dower House team know that each and every wedding is individual, and are on hand to ensure you have the perfect day.

Country House Hotel Wedding Venue

The Dower House Hotel offers our guests a wonderful choice of bright and spacious bedrooms with views overlooking the stunning grounds and over the first fairway of the Bracken course at the National Golf Centre.

We have 6 beautiful rooms in the Main House including the luxurious Bracken Suite, and a further 15 rooms in our Lodge; a short walk through the tranquil gardens from the Main House.

Our beautiful Hotchkin Suite, named after the family that built the house in 1905, is on the first floor of the Lodge and is offered to all our Wedding Couples (subject to availability).

Intimate Wedding Venue

We have an Intimate Wedding package for much smaller celebrations.

This includes ceremony and wedding breakfast venues fully set up and ready for any additional décor touches that you may wish to add. A glass of Prosecco for all your guests after the ceremony and another for the toasts, a three-course wedding meal from our Elegance Menu, followed by tea, coffee and mints. Suitable for 30 guests or less.

We will take care of every detail from the planning through to your big day. Our attentive team will be on hand to help every step of the way to ensure your dream day is everything you could wish for and more. Yours will be the only wedding celebrations at our hotel on your special day; you deserve our full attention.

We have packages, carefully planned to ease your wedding preparation worries, and if these do not suit your dream day our experienced Wedding Planner will create a bespoke package just for you.

Our fabulous Folly in the beautiful hotel grounds is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, and our elegant Orchard Suite will accommodate you and your guests for your delicious Wedding Breakfast meal. You can then dance the night away under our stunning sparkly ceiling. For smaller, more intimate celebrations our beautiful Garden Room provides the perfect cosy room for your wedding breakfast.

Our elegant Orchard Suite can accommodate 120 guests for your Wedding Breakfast, increasing to a maximum of 180 for your Evening Reception. The Orchard suite has its own dedicated, private bar so your celebrations are exclusively for your guests. Our stunning Folly can accommodate 120 guests for your Civil Ceremony, and our sparkly Oak Room accommodates 80 guests for an inside Civil Ceremony.
