thortful has launched a Barbie card range to send to your bestie on her big day! 

The internet has been coloured pink with over 107,000 views on Tiktok for #ThisBarbie following the release of a new Barbie trailer. Greetings card marketplace, thortful, has created Barbie cards to send to your nearest and dearest, including 'This Barbie has passed her driving test', and 'This Barbie is getting married'

The accompanying Barbie Selfie Generator tool allows users to create a Barbie movie poster using their own selfie, with the phrase 'This Barbie is...' followed by whatever they want to be. So that fans can spread the Barbie fever for any occasion, greetings card marketplace, thortful, has created occasion cards inspired by the viral social media tool.

For those needing to send a birthday card soon, you can send a 'This Barbie wishes you a very happy birthday' card, or 'This Barbie is celebrating'.

And Ken fans, fear not!You can wish the Kens in your life a happy birthday with their 'Ken you believe it's your birthday?' card. It doesn't just stop at birthdays, though. You can also send cards like 'This Barbie has passed her driving test', 'This Barbie has graduated', 'This Barbie has got a new job', and 'This barbie has got a new house'. You can even congratulate those who are expecting, with a 'This Barbie is expecting a baby' card!

Married to your surname? 26% of women are planning on keeping theirs

Lots of people are ditching traditions when it comes to modern weddings and marriage - one of which quickly losing favour is the tradition of taking your partner's surname. In a recent survey carried out by Pandora UK, almost nine in ten (88%) women said they think that attitudes to married names are changing in 2026 ¹. When asked, over a quarter (26%) of unmarried women said they'd keep their last name if they got married, whilst less than half (45%) said they'd take their partner's name. This is indicative of the shift in opinion in recent years, as when married women were asked, only a sixth (17%) of women said they kept their maiden names when they got married, whilst the majority (78%) took their partner's surname, with just 4% choosing to double-barrel their last name with their significant other.
